For cats and dogs, the recommended starting dose is 2g per pound of affected cats or dogs and should be treated in the earliest signs of athlete's foot (tinea cruris) or ringworm (tinea corporis) on the first appearance of athlete's foot. In the affected owner's case the dose may be increased to 4g or decreased to 2.5g depending on the severity of the infection.
The recommended starting dose for cats is 2g/day and for dogs and dogs ringworm is often treated at this higher dose. Ringworm is more likely to occur with larger animals, such as cats and dogs with liver impairment. Ringworm may usually be treated with Lamisil AT 1% Cream (4g) twice a day for 2-3 days. For ringworm treatment the dose should be gradually reduced to 1.2g/day as the Cruris Complex wears away, usually at night.
For dogs treatment should be continued for 2-3 days, depending on the severity of the infection. A dose of 2.
